1/2 lb ground beef
3/4 cup water
1 large jar spaghetti sauce
1 tsp salt
1 (8 oz) pkg lasagna noodles [6 noodles]
1 cup cottage cheese
12 oz Mozzarella cheese, grated
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Brown ground beef; drain. Add water, sauce and salt. Bring to a boil. In an 11x7 baking dish, layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, cottage cheese, & Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, ending with sauce. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375 for 1 hour. Let stand for 10 minutes. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
NOTE: I received this recipe from my mother-in-law, Mary, years ago. I make it frequently. It is so easy and very good.
