Mix & Match sale
This mix & match sale is not like the last mix & match sale. During the last mix & match sale you had to purchase 10 items for this sale you have to purchase $10 worth of products. You must purchase $10 to get the sale price. These sales are a little more confusing. I usually write a detailed list & take it to the store with me. My albertsons frequently runs out of sale items so I give my self more time and i take a calculator & a pen so that I can make any changes to my list if they are out of something. Below is an example of how I write my grocery list.
Item- price before sale/price after sale (coupons-#of coupons I have for that item)
Zatarains rice $1/.70
Hidden Valley Ranch packets $1/.70
Sparkle paper towels $1/.70
Angel Soft tp $2.50/1.75 ($2 off 1 angel soft & 1 sparkle -1)
C&H sugar $2.50/1.75 (-$.35-5)
Mrs Butterworths syrup $2.50/1.75
Tonys pizza $2.50/1.75
McCormick Black Pepper $2.50/1.75 (-$.75/1 -1)
Whole Fruit Bars $2.50/1.75 (-$1/1 -1 & $.50/1 -1)
Wet Ones $2/1.40 ($1/1 -1 & $.75/1 -5)
Bic 3 razors $5/3.50 (-2/1 -1)
Schick razors $5/3.50 (buy 1 get 1 free -1)
These are just a few of the products that are on sale. I listed the ones I use &/or have coupons for. Remember...when the ad says purchase $10 that $10 is calculated from the price before the sale. For example..lets say that you are going to buy 2 bic razors. Your subtotal would be $10..they would subtract $3 for the sale so your total would be $7. Then you subtract $2 for your coupon and your grand total is $5.
Another (more complicated) example..
1 Zatarains rice $1/.70
1 Hidden Valley Ranch packets $1/.70
1 Sparkle paper towels $1/.70
1 Angel Soft tp $2.50/1.75 ($2 off 1 angel soft & 1 sparkle -1)
1 McCormick Black Pepper $2.50/1.75 (-$.75/1 -1)
1 Wet Ones $2/1.40 ($1/1 -1 & $.75/1 -5)
-$3 for sale
-$3.75 for coupons
These sales are more complicated but they are worth the effort. Just remember to purchase in groups that are worth $10. If you need help feel free to call or email me and I will help you figure it out.
Another item I found that is a very good price is the disposable gloves. They are $1 or $.70 after the sale. There was a coupon for $1 off any package a few weeks ago which makes them free + you get paid $.30 per package! Awesome Deal!
